2017 is going to be a huge year for BMW Safari events, with some classic events as well as a few new events just to spice it up a bit.
If you have done a BMW Safari before, you know how good they are. If you haven’t, maybe 2017 is the year.
One thing to note is that we regularly hear some riders say “I’m not experienced enough to do a GS Safari”. Nothing could be further from the truth – the support network and the routes chosen really make it suitable for a wide range of abilities from novice through to expert.
The Safari Enduro events are generally more challenging, more remote, or both, but the regular GS Safari event is very achievable for less experienced riders. We even run a two day rider training course on the days before the event!
We have just announced details of the 2017 schedule, read on below for dates and locations.

BMW OFF ROAD TRAINING
BMW Motorrad has been providing adventure riding training courses since 2003. Our highly qualified and experienced instructors have taught thousands of riders to be skilled and confident off road riders. At BMW Off Road Training we pride ourselves in our record, riders are always saying how much fun they have as well as how much they have learnt. Rider safety is paramount, you don’t have to attempt any exercise you don’t feel comfortable, sometimes it’s better to watch and learn, then decide if the exercise is for you or not.
Level 1 – Learn all the basics to help you when your adventure goes off road.
Level 2 – Take your riding to the next level, improve control and precision so you can tackle steeper, rockier and more technical terrain.
