Learn more about BMW Motorrad

The BMW Motorrad range just keeps getting better.

BMW Motorrad has officially revealed new models and updates to existing models at renowned global motorcycle exhibitions, Intermot in Cologne, Germany and EICMA in Milan, Italy.

A significant focus has been placed on the Heritage range, featuring models which have a distinct and classic BMW design, reminiscent of models past.

Whilst reflecting on the old, BMW is also looking to the future, expanding its presence in the smaller-CC segment as well as introducing an exciting superbike prototype.

Read on for more of the latest updates to the BMW Motorrad range.

G 310 GS

BMW Motorrad is shaking up the small CC category.

It may be an entry-level bike, but it is a powerful player in the GS family.

A bike for those who want to get out of the city and venture off the beaten track, the G 310 GS is made for everyday adventures.

A sibling to the recently introduced G 310 R, the G 310 GS joins the roadster model as a bike made for new experiences and breaking out of daily routine.

Features include:

  • 313 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine
  • Relaxed seating position
  • BMW Motorrad ABS
  • Optional ASC

Pure, reduced, air-cooled. The R nineT Pure is everything a classic boxer roadster should be.

Reminiscent of BMW models in the 70s and 80s, the R nineT Pure references BMW’s history like no other model.

The opposed-twin engine is at the heart of the design, and the model is reduced to the pure BMW essentials.

Ideal for customising and design, the R nineT Pure lets riders unleash their creativity.

Features include:

  • Air/oil-cooled flat twin (‘Boxer’) 4-stroke engine
  • BMW Motorrad ABS
  • 110 hp (81 kW) engine
  • Optional ASC
  • 2-in-1 brushed stainless steel exhaust system

R nine T Urban G/S

Inspired by the desert racers and adventurers of the 80s, the R nineT Urban G/S is symbolic of BMW Motorrad’s GS history, particularly the 1985 R 80 G/S model.

Featuring a classic design, the Urban G/S allows riders to venture out of the city and explore gravel roads and dirt tracks.  The classic Paris Dakar style allows riders to connect to BMW’s GS history, whilst maintaining the modern elements of an air-cooled motorcycle.

Features include:

  • Light-alloy cast wheels and 19-inch front wheel in enduro style
  • Flat-twin boxer engine with a capacity of 1170cc
  • BMW Motorrad ABS
  • Optional ASC

Re-live the era of legendary superbikes.

BMW’s R nineT Racer takes inspiration from 70s motorsports. A distinctive design featuring a dynamic air-cooled engine, the R nineT Racer completes the sporty segment of the Heritage range.  The elongated proportions extend through the entire design and promise pure acceleration.

The distinctive half-shell fairing, the tank and the seat shape the slim silhouette.

Available in the traditional colours of BMW Motorsport (red, white and blue), the design calls to the free spirit of racing.

Features include:

  •  Air/oil-cooled flat twin (‘Boxer’) 4-stroke engine
  • BMW Motorrad ABS
  • 110 hp (81 kW) engine
  • Optional ASC
  • 17 litre fuel tank
  • 2-in-1 polished stainless steel exhaust system

It is synonymous with elegance, power and luxury on two wheels and transforms every road, every tour and every moment into a particularly intense experience.
